Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

French travel wardrobe part 2: foxes and stags

Please excuse the mirror selfies, but I just finished the next piece of my French capsule wardrobe: a self-drafted cold shoulder tunic.

... and excuse the scrap bags and other mess in the background!

It’s got a high/low hemline, side vents, a back pleat and snap closures at the shoulders. For once, I pressed the whole thing, all/both the seams, and all the seam allowances.

The neckline dipped a little lower than planned, so I might add a few tucks in the middle so it’s less revealing. Otherwise, it’s pretty much what I had in mind. I think I will do a boat neck for the next one, and use the buttons to make it more/less revealing as desired. I’d kind of planned that for this one, but forgot that the scoop neckline means it won’t work that way. Oops.a
