Hi, my name is Nikki.

I sew. I knit. I crochet.

I make other stuff too, but I'm sure you'll figure that out if you stick around here for long enough.

I also play games - tabletop games, computer games, console games - I'm up for anything as long as I've got the time.

One of the things that I'd love to see in the world is casual/everyday cosplay as a mainstream fashion choice. To me, everyday cosplay can be about whatever you want it to be. Themed jewellery, fandom-inspired outfits, iconic replicas, branded tees, homages. The only prerequisite for my definition of everyday cosplay is that it's comfortable and practical enough to be a normal outfit that you could wear during your normal daily life.

Why Buttons and Kittens?

Why not?

Both words can mean so many things. Buttons on clothing. Literal kittens (i.e. baby cats). Buttons on gaming controllers. Vintage sex kittens. Buttons that you push just to see what would happen.

If you're interested in any of the above, stick around and check out the blog or follow me on social.
